Membership
dues cover the costs of P.O. Box, webpage, supplies, and promotion of BAO and its sponsored events.
Member participation makes BAO a representative
association of the Buddhist community. Member input gives BAO advice and guidance for its programs and activities. BAO membership promotes communication and cooperation
among the diverse elements of the community. BAO members' resources and capabilities
are shared among the Buddhist community. BAO's support of Buddhist teachings and organizations is
improved by member input and participation. The Association promotes the accessibility
of the many forms of Buddhism to the public. Buddhist groups become a stronger community
to benefit all beings.

Group/Sangha Membership
$50.00 - $200.00 (sliding
scale)
A Member Group Representative may vote
in the Annual General Assembly. Member Groups provide vital guidance for BAO's programs and activities. Member Groups and their activities become known to the wider Buddhist community. Member
Groups learn about each other's programs and activities and can share resources. Member
groups do not bear legal or financial responsibility for running the affairs of BAO.
